J's new piece...

They have released a complete front pipe 2 cat delete setup. Made of SS. Price is ¥30000. Would post a pic, but they specifically request on the site no reproductions of their pics and well I don't want to ruin the relationship I have been building up with them. So if interested, go to their site, click on the red H, then GE Fit and under the exhaust the 4th choice (ストレートサーキットコンバーター)

It was quite a pain in the ass to even change out just the lower cat, especially working in a driveway using jack stands so I think I will pass on this piece. I'm sure it might add a bit more power losing that primary cat, but since already spent a grip on the Ti front pipe just going to pass. I wish they would just make an upper section for those of us who already have the secondary cat gone. Maybe I can talk Umehara-San into having them do just that.

what's the website?
edit:

you poke around http://www.jsracing.co.jp/

looking at the pictures, it looks irritating to put on since it's a one piece vs the weapon r one. looks purty though

No CEL because the 02 sensor resides before the secondary cat. The ECU sees the same A/F ratio as long as the primary cat is in place.

if I have to do a one piece with a single high flow spun cat converter for the primary... would I be good? I don't want to deal with CEL and bungs.

What he said. I'm also curious about this.

I can't say for sure because that first cat has a different sensor type in it, it's a wide-band, but I believe not like a regular 02 sensor. Maybe if you extended the wiring for it and ran it into (quite odd) or just after the cat and then have the actual 02 sensor behind it the ECU might think everything is normal.

It says "Straight Circuit Converter" if I got my romaji right.

FYI for those who don't read katakana
