No, Honda, we don’t want a supercharged CR-Z - Road & Track

so what are the thoughts on being able to adapt this to the Fit?

Usually HPD parts are for "off-road" only vehicles. would this be available for the average Joe?

 

My guess the HPD kit will be north of $4000. If this kit can be adapted for the Fit and isnt $4000 then I would be first in line. It sucks the GE8 is the red headed step child of the Fit models.

 

Yes, it is available to the public... around low to mid 4k for the HPD supercharger kit if I remember right. Honda JUST put the pricing in their catalog within the last week or so.

Its actually an "accessory" you can get for the CR-Z. I'd doubt that it would be compatible with the GE8 (plug and play wise) since the CR-Z lacks an alternator... So at minimum, you'll need a custom bracket to mount the S/C unit.

 

Ya the alternator would be a big deal and I didn't expect that as a factor. Now you could ditch the AC and relocate some alternator in its place, that wouldn't be impossible.

Is there any mention of tune for this or is it still the factory flash?
