My '10 Fit Sport came with the spoiler, of course...I got to wondering if the angle it's installed is optimum to reduce drag. I know there's some voodoo to auto aero stuff, and I was wondering if any of you smart folks knew.

i bet its for aero dynamics. it seems to flow with the egg shape.

 

I sorta figured that might be the case-Honda did all kinds of tricks to get good mileage.

 

With or without the mileage claims are the same. At 150mph it creates some front downforce, otherwise it is just for looks.

 

That's why I wondered if changing the angle might do anything-I know nearly all "wings" either do nothing, or more harm than good.
