I have not installed it yet, I will take some photos during the process. As said, I know the USDM grille is somewhat different in the honeycomb pattern of the JDM grille...no big deal. It will be made to work.

 

OK...I finally tried to mount this emblem up to my grille. It would appear that the JDM honeycomb pattern is either different or the USDM grille has some honeycombs filled in rather than open on the JDM grille. I would really hate to have to hack up my grille, so I will try trimming on the emblem when I get to it. I am not sure if a JDM grille will fit a USDM car. I do like the JDM grille a lot more. The USDM sport grille to me is boring and lacks good looks. I was hoping for a little more detail from the poster that already mounted it. Also, does anybody have any info. on an OEM JDM grille? Will it fit? If so, where can I get one? What is the part number?

 

Jdm grill will not fit the usdm fit. Their nose is flatter than ours.

 

Not exactly the same auto mission, as the RS and other Fits come with CVT missions, the only model that gets the same AT found there is the 4WD models.

That's really an old post I'm quoting, but when I see misinformation I like to get it corrected is all.

 

No worries...I figured by the photos that a JDM grille & USDM grille were very different. I will figure it out...no big deal.

 

I still don't know what part to trim lol
