ABS vs FRP spoiler, which is better?

hi,
im from Malaysia, the climate here is very warm, and sunny and dusty almost everyday.

i have been reading on these two cheap ABS and FRP materials for the rear spoiler. Both have their own ups and downs.

im getting the INGs or the Spoon rear spoiler for my Jazz GE8, please advice which is a better choice.

ABS or FRP?

thx

for the spoiler, get whichever you like the style of more. i'm assuming you're going to paint it?

the main difference between the two is when used as a ground effect lip. the plastic lip will bend/flex when the fiberglass will crack/break.

but with a spoiler, you shouldn't ever hit anything with it, so you should be fine with either.

there shouldn't be any difference. i have a carbon fiber (which i think is really a fpr spoiler) and it has held up pretty well after a few years in the sun. the clearcoat is fading but that is to be expected.
