Replacing Entire Headlight Assembly

Replacing Entire Headlight Assembly
Hey,
I have a base model manual transmission 2009 Honda fit. An icicle fell from our roof and smashed the plastic on the headlight assembly. I have purchased the headlight assembly, and I am wondering if its fairly easy to replace this myself. I searched the forums and saw instructions for replacing the bulb itself but not the entire assembly. Could somebody point me to some instructions for doing this?
Thanks in advance.

easy is a relative term. first time is kinda harrowing, but after you've done it once, it takes like less than 5 mins to remove the front bumper.
you'll need a #10 socket wrench and maybe a flathead and a phillips to take off some screws and pop off some clips.
You'll need to remove the front bumper. Raise up the front of the car. Open up your hood. Remove the 5-6 clips (depends on your model) on the radiator cover panel then take off the cover. There is one screw on each front wheel well. There is one screw at each corner at the bottom of your bumper and 4-6 clips under. Once you have those off start from the wheel well and pull the bumper off pulling up and towards you. The retaining clips will let go and you'll be able to remove the bumper.
The headlight is held on by 4 screws. There are two above and two below. 10 mm socket wrench should fit and remove all 4 screws. Pop on your new headlight.
Reinstall everything backwards.
You'll probably have to reaim the new headlight. Before you start any of this, make sure you point the car to the wall on level ground, and tape off the cutoff pattern against the wall with the headlights on. Once you replace the headlight, just adjust the beam pattern to where your tape is.
Have fun!
