I ordered CoverKing Wetsuit covers from Costco for just under $300 shipped, which includes a $13.50 surcharge because I'm not a member. They are made-to-order, so the lead time is 2 to 3 weeks.

They are scheduled to arrive Firday (12/11) so I'll soon know how they fit and look. They are nearly $200 less than the Wet Okole item, which seem to enjoy a good reputation, but I couldn't justify that much. I guess I'll find out if I made a mistake or not.

My CoverKing Wetsuit covers came in a day early. I installed the front seats and headrests in about 30 minutes. The only challenge was getting my fat hands under the seat. They appear to be well made, but only time will tell how good they hold up. Here are a few pics.

That's a good question. It gets hot and muggy here in central VA for a couple months a year, so I guess I'll find out eventually. If it's unbearable, maybe I can throw a towel over the seats or something. Heck, they went on so easy, removing them for summer might not be out of the question either. It might be a good time to run them through the washer as well, just to help keep them clean.

I'm considering seat covers for our Fit dog hair retianers, er.. seats. Any companies to look at appreciated. Are side air bags a problem? I believe on my 04 Civic the AirBags are in the seat (optional equip on that car).

My only regret is color choice.....the beige is not good for a slob like me and I kinda wish I had picked a darker color. The fit (no pun intended) has stayed nice and tight and they don't seem to cause undue sweating when cruising around in the blistering summer heat. I'd buy them again with no hesitation.

Seat Covers

Hi Guys
I have a 08 fit sport, The seats were fine till 09 when we adopted a Jack Russel super dog.Up untill yesterday I had to peal off the dog hair one by one, It was driving me nuts.I pleaded with the wife to buy me Coverking charcoal/black seat covers for my birthday 7/31 which she did (god bless her) We installed them yesterday 8/01 and man do they look good.It took a little over a half hour to install but not hard at all.Just follow the instructions and take your time.U can't really tell they are seat covers they fit that good and best of all the dogs hair does not stick to them !!!

Yah, +1. I have a german shepherd, and his hair sticks like glue to the stock fabric.

I've been very pleased with the coverking covers. Only problem, and it's not really a problem just a regret, is that I didn't get black. I have a red fit and so I got the red covers, and I feel like a boi-racer with the bright red covers. Plus I'm afraid they'll fade in the AZ sun, and become pink seat covers.

Very comfortable however, and seem to be holding up quite well. Glad I got them. They were a steal at costco too.

I recently ordered the Coverking neoprene ones for my front seats from Costco. Great price & fast delivery. They are scheduled to arrive Monday 11/15 and I ordered them last Monday 11/8. I am getting black with charcoal inserts. I thought about getting blue, but thought it might be too bright and I would tire of the color sooner.

$139.99 per row on sale with free shipping.

I thought about getting the black with charcoal too... but in the end, I decided on solid black.

It seems the price drops another $10 if you get two rows. I checked it out last night and the price came out to almost $270. Man, that's $80 less than what I paid in July.

But, it has saved me a few times so far with my Pepsi spills. Too bad I didn't have it installed when I had my major spill. I have a huge 52 oz Bubba Keg with nowhere to put it.

Airbags?

Do these seat covers affect the airbags in the Fit's seats?

I did the Clazzios. It didn't seem worth it to cover fabric with fabric, and the easy wipe-down cleanup was a big selling point for me - I came from an Element, the easy wipe-down car!

There have been quite a few who got the leather inserts - I think I'm the only one who has posted pics of the all-PVC. If it's good enough for a Mercedes E-class, I think vinyl is fine for an econobox ;-) It's not the vinyl from your father's Oldsmobile!

Also, the lighting came out a bit strange - they look almost patent leather in the pics, but the finish is not nearly as shiny as it appears.

The covers are designed for side airbags

Here is a demo of installing them:

I think they've had those covers on that car, and removed them to install them again - they are very snug, and in my case, installing them involved far more straining, grunting, and cursing. They did NOT just slide over like that. Plan at least 2-3 hours of installing time.

They are 100% worth the trouble though! I can't believe how much better the seats feel!

Mine had too. The foam gets mashed down rather easily.
