Mugen Knob for GE

Anyone know what the size is for the OE Mugen knob for the GE? And is it weighted or just light-weight aluminum?

Was considering the TWM knob as well as it is weighted, but about the same price.

TIA!

Have the above knob- and it is weighted. Makes a huge difference, especially with a short shifter.

Yeah, VERY weighted. At least 4-5 times the weight of the stock plastic/leather knob.

Don't have a close up picture of it, but this is the best I have right now.

Here's my pic. It would have been better if it had a thick coat of lacquer and the horizontal seam from machining smoothed out. Also the knob gets so cold in winter, I need to wear a glove to handle it!
Worth a $100? Probably not, but it complements the interior nicely!

which mugen knob is this? I wanted to get the one from the Mugen SI but that one is a 6 speed so it would look funny. Is this a new mugen knob? Never seen this one before.

ok So i bought this knob since Mugen finally came out with a round one. The thing is freaking huge(compared to the blitz knob I had), feels like im shifting with a billiard ball. And contrary to what members posted above, it is NOT weighted. Maybe heavier than the stock knob, but I've been using the Skunk2 knob for 2 years so the mugen one feels like nothing. But awesome looking knob, me likes! Wish it was heavy like the Skunk2 knob though.

*edit* Also I like how I can screw the knob down all the way and have the gear pattern facing the right direction without having to use that nut.

Did that the first day I had the car. The dumb salespeople threw the knob on and it wasn't tight. Tightened the jamb nut and the knob was still loose. Screw it all the way down with the nut and its fucking wrong. Removed the nut, screwed it all the way down - and perfect. It does it a little low for me, so I may be grabbing the Circuit Hero extender.

yeah I love the low-ness of it too, especially with my short shifter. My skunk2 knob came with the nut, but I didnt use it either because it was too high. But the mugen knob you don't have to use the nut and the shift-pattern will be straight...and its lower! =]

^You got lucky. I tried it without the nut and the pattern wasn't straight.

I'm considering the Circuit Hero extender and a Mugen knob, just not sure how funny that would look. It's too bad the extender doesn't come in black. That would be a bit more subtle. Anyone have pics of the Mugen knob and CH extender?

Had the Mugen knob now for about 1 year and love it. It is the best size and weight for super spirited driving fun time
