Best way to add Bluetooth to stock radio?
Howdy -
Just ordered my 2012 base manual!
Looking for your suggestions. I use Bluetooth an awful lot on the single-DIN Sony deck in my old car. But it's a piece of crap, so I really don't care how ugly it looks in the dash.
The Fit is my first-ever "new" car, and it just seems like a crime to yank the stock radio out and shove in something that looks hideous.
I've seen a number of kits on the web which claim allow BT calling and A2DP (audio streaming) through the existing stock radio. Have you had any luck? What would you suggest?
Thanks!

I've installed some of the parrot kits in the past but that was before the A2DP stuff. I would look into one of the DD like the Kenwood 418 that will look good as well as giving a host of other options. While you are at it I would look into replacing the speakers as well.

Picked up my base Fit. I found my solution!
Soundfly BT Ultimate Bluetooth Car Fm Transmitter WMA/MP3 Player for SD Card
It plugs into the cigarette lighter. I ran the microphone under the dash up the rubber door trip and clipped it on the side. Tuned FM2 (which I never use) to my bluetooth FM frequency - and voila! Bluetooth in the FIT for less than $60.
I'll post pictures.
