anyone know if this will fit.

i purchased the civic si shift boot with the red trim shift boot but it didnt fit all the way. so i was wondering if anyone tried the gd3 shift boot. i really like the pyramid look to it.

by red trim do you mean black leather with red stitching? lol if so why buy one for the SI? the GE8 has its own. here's mine

 

yea but isnt that like 80 bucks plus waiting in the mail, i read the diy on here for an si one but it was intended for a gd3 and wasnt stated so i tried.

 

that sounds more like a waste of money to get the same end result but have fun.

 

not really i think it was like 20 bucks i did it already and am not happy with it. I can live with it thoe. The shift boot you have also has a knob i dont need that as i have the mugen one.

just asking cause i really like the pyramid look to it

 

I've wondered this same thing. I don't think it'd be a perfect fit because I think the GD shift boot is round while mine on my GE is more oval. Might still work just depends on the size of the base of the rubber GD boot.

 

Check out shiftstyle.com. They make nice custom boots.
