Just noticed the Fit in Japan has the same seats as the US Accord. Has anyone tried fitting these seats into the GE8?

Just wondering how complex it may be. Did a quick search online but came up blank.

Do you have pictures of what you are talking about? I doubt they are actually the same.

 

I'd be pretty certain they are different seats. The Accord is much wider than the Fit, and so are the seats, and so are the respective drivers.

 

Exactly, that's why I was asking the OP to post a picture of what he is talking about. I'm guessing they just use the same upholstery and are similar in style.

 

The seat rails will definitely be different - remember that the fuel tank on the Fit is under the front seats. That alone will prevent you from swapping Accord seats in.
