Magic Board-any experience?

Magic Board-any experience?
So after dropping too much coin on the OEM cargo cover, I'm disinclined to spend even more on the Magic Shelf for my new-to-me 2012 Sport AT.
Does anyone have any experience with the Magic Board? Is it true it only holds 2.2lbs/1kg? Is the cargo floor modification required to install it? Those are both deal breakers for me.
Edit: I see that I moved a decimal in the wrong direction. According to Honda, it holds 22lbs, which is 19.8lbs more than I originally thought.

No personal experience with the Magic Board but if they made it for my GD3, I'd definitely would have gotten one. Yes, cargo floor modification is required to install but it seems like a cinch to install (going from video and install instructions). See install and function at the video below...

I just saw the Magic Board for the first time at the College Hills Honda YouTube page. The supreme price seems to match the manufacturer (Honda), but it does look practical. I have a hard time justifying the price, unfortunately.
I would think OEMs could sell more accessories if they just weren't so expensive. I bet the people who originally design a car come up with these cool features and then have to sit back and watch their designs chopped up and turned into accessories that nearly no one would buy on their own.
If you happen to buy one and receive a spare by accident, I'll help you get rid of it!

If I ever have an extra Magic Board lying around, it's yours!
