Skunk 2 shift knob not fitting right

I've tried putting on my new skunk 2 shift knob but when it tightens up all the way it always ends up facing a different direction (same direction every time).

Did it come with a nut? You have to turn the knob down to where you want it then tighten the nut into the knob

how about you try some thread lock blue and let it dry over night in the position you prefer?

I accidently got the 10 x 1.25 instead of 10 x 1.5 so that was the reason it didnt fit. I am going to return this and get the 10 x 1.5, thanks guys!

on i see.. sorry to hear. but yah, if your new knob doesnt sit correctly with the shift pattern, just use some loctite blue, position it, and let it dry overnight.
