Can anyone comment on their satisfaction with the Mugen rear view cover?
Hey all, I was wondering if anyone could give me their impressions on the Mugen rear view mirror cover. I like the look but wasn't sure if i wanted to commit 50 bucks to it. Does the plastic feel pretty sturdy? Hows the finish on the paint? Mugen logo seem like it will last a while? Hows the fitment? Does it stay pretty firm with the double sided tape / any issues with it falling off?
It's obviously just a style thing so I guess it really comes down to weather or not I want to spend the money for a cosmetic upgrade with the word "Mugen" on it. Would it be totally lame to have this on a car that doesn't have any of the Mugen aero? I just think the cover itself looks nice from the outside.
Thanks for any feedback.

I have had it for six months
It looks brand new still, I can't even notice that it's installed when I'm driving but then I realize it once I'm out of the car
You don't need to have the Mugen aero to run it, it's just an accessory piece

I have one. It is a quality piece like most all Mugen stuff is. It's one of those not needed kinda things but looks nice.
They don't have Orange Burst they have Orange Revolution 76450-XTK-000ZH or you could opt for a Black mirror cover.
I have a 13 Alabaster Silver Fit and opted for the Blue Sensation Pearl from the 09-10 Fit.

Cool, thanks for the input guys. I might get one for the nice visual upgrade. I'm not sure if i would want a black one to match my exterior or the red.
Was it hard to get a hold of? I saw College Hills Honda says its best to contact them because availability is "limited." I asked my local dealer about Mugen parts and they told me they aren't allowed to sell them unless you have a car that came as a Mugen car. It kind of sucks because i was thinking about getting this, the short shifter, and maybe the side window visor things, but i guess they don't want my money lol.

Who ever told you that they can't get Mugen stuff is full of it. Honda has a bunch of Mugen stuff for the Fit and Accord. The only thing not available to purchase is the Mugen Civic parts. Those are VIN controlled to keep people I would guess from trying to replicate the car and deplete the parts in Honda inventory.
And yes from checking recently some Mugen Fit stuff is becoming obsolete.
