ok i am in the market for some race seats for my 09 fit and would like to see what everyone is using.
please give some feed back on your setup.
how do you like them
do they sit lower then stock
what seat rails are you using.

Look at threads made by Fit4thetouge, 555sexydrive and noxm09 (I believe that's the correct username).

Not many people have put buckets into GE's.

 

Sorry for potato quality pics. I like the seat very much, even though its a pain to get into and out of...it's something I'm used to from past cars but not every person likes riding around in a fixed back race seat every day. It does sit much lower than stock, and the seat bracket contributes to the low height. The difference between this and stock is night and day...I get into stock Fits and it feels like I'm in a truck. Just awesome around turns.



I'm using the Buddy Club Super Low bracket seen here. You'll get an airbag light if you don't use some sort of resistor or jumper wire on the airbag plug. Also, as far as the passenger side is concerned, there are position sensors on the rails which dictate how the airbags deploy IIRC...a big headache to deal with and it's why most people just keep the stock seat.
