UOAs

Mine was somewhere between 5 & 6k miles I think. Checked at 30% oil life.
This is engine oil, redline 0w20. My car is at 70k miles, fuel economy is around 28mpg, driving style is "spirited". Lots of short trips, long idling. Does see 6500 rpms fairly often.
Routine maintenance has always been performed, been using redline fluids since I got it at 35k.
Honda oil filter

Will be sending off tranny fluid soon also. Feel free to post up your UOAs for comparative purposes.

Very useful report!

Uber-expensive oil and filters seem to be working fine for long intervals.

It would be very interesting to see UOAs for the GE vs the GK, and if the direct injection motor has any negative effects on the oil longevity.
I haven't bothered to do one on my '18 6MT yet, only 10k on the clock, I changed at 6k as the oil did look terribly sooty. It may have been serviceable, so I just changed it as I didn't have a sample kit to draw off and send for UOA. I won't be extending intervals until after warranty period anyway. On our 100k mile 2011, oil still appears quite clean after 3k miles, and it doesn't use any oil either. Probably should draw a sample from that one at 6k or so.

10k on oil/filter
47,500 miles on the car, 2015 GK5

oil = mobil 1 0w-20, extended performance (rated for 15k) high mileage formula (supposedly has additives that are good for rings/seal)
filter = purolator pl14610 boss (rated for 15k)

driving style = lots of highway driving, to the tune of 100-150 miles a day/round trip. oem mpg readings usually around 38-40 mpg

Purolator. Very high end filter, and a good call. I'll be switching to one of those.

The reason for the fancy oil, as unnecessary as it seems, is the large quantity of additives that provide sheer resistance.
