Hood struts


Added these yesterday. Work well. Had difficulty getting one of the hinge bolts out but my friendly Dodge dealer solved that.

nice...i have been considering this mod. did u use a kit or piece together ur own. more pics would be great! and also...did u change your radiator trim thing that feeds air from grill to hood scoop?

A kit - SOKIE TECH GAS HOOD DAMPER KIT on Ebay. Sorry no other good pics. They just bolt on using existing hood hinge bolts.

Trim piece is stock

yea that was one of the 2 i was looking at. wasnt sure since it showed a JDM fit it would work on our hoods.
hmm not sure they will clear my strut bar/mount. im assuming it uses the forward most hood hinge bolts? the part that mounts to the hood is definitely in the ballpark of the strut bar as well, as the bottom of the hood scoop rests on the strut bar as is. i guess ill keep them on the back burner for now till i feel like experimenting.

Goes on bolt closest to the front of hood. I doubt if they would fit if you have a bar.
