Difference in Temperature Sensors?

My 2012 hybrid GP1 (LDA3 engine I believe) apparently uses two temperature sensors: one is down at the radiator and one is underneath the air filter box. I think the Honda number for one is 37870 RTA 005, and the other one is 37870 PLC 004. (Some suppliers say 37870 PNA 003 is the same, but I cannot confirm.) I also saw online that one is black and one is white . Can anyone tell me what the differences are between these two sensors? Do they read different voltages, give a different signal back to the ECU? Also my local supplier carries an FAE aftermarket with numbers FAE 33455 and 33456. Does anyone have any experience with the FAE brand? Thanks.
