Hi all. I just bought a 2013 red Fit Sport manual with 77k miles. 1 owner. It's a manual...but it did not come with the manual

I noticed that there's a USB outlet in the top glove compartment. I plugged in my iPhone and it plays through the sound system...but I'm worried about shutting the glove box on my USB cord to keep my phone on the passenger seat.

Any advice? Thanks.

 

I keep mine in the glove compartment when playing music.

 

Your iPhone cord will be just fine. Replacement ones are inexpensive.

 

I always just shut the glove box door on the cord. Never hurt it. I preferred to use the AUX plug though.

 

I wired an USB extension from the glove box to the center console (near the 12V plug on the dash). Was tired of having to stretch to the upper glove box every time I wanted to play my USB dongle.

Had the idea from a thread here, but cannot find it... You might if you search for a little longer. It was pretty easy to do with the right tools.
