bluetooth module from handsfree link died / rplacement hard to find!?
I installed the OEM hands free link bluetooth kit in my 2010 fit when I got it and recently connectivity started flaking out and then finally quit completely... I am 99% sure it is the module itself because when it started going south I was able to get it to work by tapping on it (it sits just inside under the steering wheel). Attached is a picture of the module... I have been searching eBay etc and there are tons of salvaged honda bluetooth modules from all types of hondas except I never seem to be able to fin this one from a 2nd Gen Fit. I did see one from a 2012 civic and the connector plug shape appeared to match my plug- is there any chance I can just pickup any honda bluetooth module with a same-as connector and get it to work?
Might be a tough find. I remember that not being a popular factory option when I was buying mine. Might be worth looking into a newer radio that supports Bluetooth. I went looking and found a pretty good Pioneer radio here that includes installation gear with the price of the radio. There's less expensive options there but this one was sort of the greatest bang for buck I could find. There's also Android auto or Apple Carplay capable head units there, but those start around $250-ish.
