after hours and hours scouting old threads regarding wheel / tyre / spring combinations, I bit the bullet and tried what I thought should work and I thought I would put this here for anyone googling “will it fit”.

against almost all advice on here I went for a 17”x 7.5” +35 wheel on 205/45’s. I chose tein springs and was ensured they would fit by my local shop with no rub. They even guaranteed that by offering free guard rolling if it did rub.

it doesn’t.

as the shop had promised also , the car handles a heck of a lot better and only a small percentage of ride quality is lost , but made up for by zero body roll and much better response.

To clarify, for those unable or unwilling to decipher an exaggeration, * noticeably less body roll than standard.

 

This is great to see! Do you have a picture of it straight from the front and from the side? I've been considering a setup with the same specs as yours and seeing those angles would really help me decide.
