Rear shocks, is the lower bolt reusable?

When replacing the rear shocks on the Fit, are the lower shock bolts reusable, or supposed to be replaced?

Honda Part No.: 90172-SAA-010c Bolt, Flange (10X73) $3.08 ea

When looking at the bolt head, the hex sides are not completely flat, they appear to be "indented", as if is a one time use item.

At 148k miles, it's time for some fresh suspension, so it's getting Bilstein B4 struts with Moog strut mounts + Bilstein B4 shocks. On the way from Summit Racing

I'm probably not the best one to listen to considering my cars been fooked forever now and everyone says it's in my head. But, I did just replace my shocks and had a hell of a time getting one of the bolts off. Ended up using an extractor and STILL reused the bolt because I'm awesome and barely scratched it.

500 Miles later, over 3 days, and it's still solid. Of course, my car still has terrible suspension problems to that apparently only I can feel and hear.

Mine don't appear corroded, but might be dry seized. Learned about that the hard way recently with replacing BOTH front hubs + bearings cuz some b**** at the tire shop air gunned them. Went to change a tire, they were stripped to the point of unmovable. Took a 1/2" impact to break them off. Over $500 for each side

I'd say if they come out nicely, go for it. But perhaps have them on hand just in case?

I'm having a shop do the install for both struts & shocks. I don't have the time/tools in case of a fubar or run into difficulties. I'm providing the parts, so in case this might be needed, I'd go ahead and get them. They'll be buzzing these out with an impact I'm sure. I'll hit them with some penetrating oil a few days ahead of the job to let them soak a while.

Thanks Kitty, that was the diagram I was looking for. It just looked like they were meant for 1 time use, the way the bolt head flats are slightly indented. Cheap enough anyway
