Hi. My car has been making those funny sounds,either when I am driving and/or braking,like a hiss sound or a squealing noise. Can anyone help me figure out ? I have been spending far too much money with this car and was wonderinf if i should wait until the next servicing ,in 5k kms.

It sounds like you need to have your front disc brake pads checked out for wear. The squealing sound is probably coming from a thin scraper plate that is built into the front disc brake pads that starts scraping against the rotors when the pads wear down to a minimum thickness.

Definitely check the front pads as 56chevydan mentioned. They could be worn down, if they're not make sure you put a little caliper grease on the backs (where the caliper makes contact with the pads) when you put them back in. Sometimes brake squeaks are caused by no lubrication on the slide pins, clips, or back of pads. Good luck!
