I figure the way these Fits are designed, a hood shield is a wise investment.

 

I installed 3M clear protector for my GK's hood and headlights plus a few other spots.

 

Genuine Honda.

 

I got this deflector to help protect the front of the hood, but also so small stones would hopefully miss hitting the windshield. So far it's worked.

 

after seeing this thread I went on yet another hunt to find the old Zeta deflector, this time contacting zeta directly. They gave me a link to their old supplier who makes some seriously cool stuff, but I havent reached out to them yet (purchase seems to require direct contact).

Just to let you know incase yuh didn't see the recent thread, the Zeta bug deflector has been found!! Can't recommend it highly enough.
