Ebay has quite a few listings for civic si seats. Not necessarily the best option but no lack of choice. Also you might try your local junk yard. They are often pretty good at sourcing something like this. But unless I'm pulling it from a car in their yard I get their feeling their sourcing methods might be questionable.
This is real simple, but worked for me. My chiropractor told me to take a tube sock (long sock that goes to the knee) and roll up a small towel, put it in the sock. Then put it where the top & bottom of the seat come together. It kinda forces you to sit in a higher position. That did the trick for me, cuz my back was killing me. Honda seats are weird. Either have no problem or ya hate 'em. I've had the sock there almost 5 years.
I just bought a 2013 Fit 5spd about 3weeks ago and, lol, I spent the first week trying to find a flip lever or roller thingy (I had a Jetta for about 4 months prior to this, so it had that weird roller thing) while I was driving down the highway! I finally stopped looking for a lever or button I was missing and Googled it only to find I'm not the only one who finds it very uncomfortable, which is comforting haha! And no, there is no way to "turn it off" lol!
I had a '90 Civic Hatchback YEARS ago and don't remember my seat being this uncomfortable. I'm glad I saw this thread though because I'd have never thought of the towel or sock thing, I'm Def going to give it a try. I'm 5'6 weight proportional and have no other issues other than that Flippin bump in the middle of my back, lol! Thanks for sharing that idea!
Just an update. I found a shop that does Honda performance stuff and the owner said he had a set of like new seats taken from a Civic Si that he put a racing seat into. We haven't agreed on a price yet, but it looks like he'll charge me for the install and give me the seats cheap. I'll post pics after it is complete.
Sorry for the forever post on this. I finally got this done. It was far more complicated than I thought. If you want 9th gen civic si seats in a GE Fit it requires welding a bracket to the frame of the seat. But the bigger problem is getting the seats, the ECU and the SRS (airbags) to communicate. That includes figuring out then redoing some of the pins on the wiring harness. It ended up costing me $600 for almost new used seats and $750 in for 6 hours of shop labor. While I'll never get this money out of it,to me it was worth it. Everyone who has ridden in the car comments how much better the seats are than the stock ones. And they look cool too.
In conclusion, probably shouldn't spend the money, but darn well worth it.

That looks beautiful! I have an 8th gen Si's driver seat in my Fit too. However for the feet brackets I just used grade 8 bolts to secure them to the seat frame rather then disassembling the seat and welding them.
I considered 8th gen Si seats, but found these 9th gen with less than 1000mi on them. In any case the GE Fit seats are just what they are supposed to be...inexpensive and adequate. For me the Si seats are a worthwhile upgrade.
of GM Metripak terminal tools on amazon. I cant verify that it would work on honda's connectors, but I'd be kinda shocked if it didnt. The terminals inside of connectors all have little metal tabs bent out on them holding them in place. Some go in through the front of the connector clip body, some go in (and thusly have to be removed) through the back.

I have this exact problem but I have a 2020 Sport model. Anyone have any insights as to whether the Civic gen 8 seats might work in this model?
