These threads must be so old by now but hey it's bugging the hell out of me so I have to post my sad story of my clicky engine

On the right-hand side of the motor (L13Z1) just where the intake meets the head it makes a very loud clicking that stands out from the normal clackity clack of the iVtec engines.
Here's a video of it, the prominent clicking is at 25 sec in the area where the intake meets the head where you see a green cable tie on the left and then an orange cable tie on the right.
Any ideas on what it might be?

 

Here is a video of an older tech 2008 DSI engine making an identical noise in the exact same area, it's right near the beginning of the video:

 

Scouting around the forum and google it seems it could be a rattling exhaust heat shield?
Which would explain why it seems to only be coming from one side and is so much louder than the rest of the clacking
