I can find the rear center jack point and the 2 jack points on either side but is there a front jack point in the centre in front of the engine on the MkII?
The service manual shows one but I can't find it, the lower lip of the bumper covers all of the front sill so I can't see how you can jack anywhere there.
I'm on a MkII facelift, 2012.
And can I jack on the sill behind/just in from the 2 side jack points?
I want to use a 2 stage bottle jack in the workshop but it's to tall to fit under the side jack point sill lip.
There is a front center jack point, but it is really deep. I have a hydraulic jack that can reach, but only if it is inserted with the handle down (and, unpressurized). Once it is in position, I can close the valve and slowly lift the car (not much room to move the pump handle. Unfortunately, this method did not work for me when the car was a little lower.
Another method is to roll your car up on ramps - plastic, metal, or wood - making it easier to reach the center jack point.
The point up front is an engine mount, and it is a recommended point at that, so that should give clarity in regards to depth.
My 2.5ton Arcana (not low profile) does fit through the same means mentioned above, but yeah, would need a low pro jack if the car was lowered. Front wheel drive + ramps makes me itchy But it does work of course!
The engine mount is slightly off-center, but it's all good (I really love the way that Honda suspended this engine).
It's quite stable.

That would make sense, that mounting just off centre, almost at the rear of the engine?
I saw it but it was so deep I couldn't believe it would be the jack point, my CRV had one on the sill just behind the front bumper, so easy to jack up.
I got this pic from another thread, this is supposed to be the front jack point on the subframe:
That's damn deep, you'd need to half crawl under there just to get the jack in the spot, nevermind pumping the arm

I do the same like some others posted. Drive up on a 2x6 then slide the floor jack underneath. I've also painted the jacking point yellow so it's easier to see.

I like the paint idea, saves on the amount of grovelling in the half gloom and muck trying to make out the jack point
