Question about plastic trim or moulding on Fit Sport

Hi. I have a 2010 Honda Fit Sport. The piece of plastic moulding or trim that runs from the back wheel well to the front wheel well right under the doors got knocked hard and is starting to come off. Two questions: Does anyone know the proper name of this particular piece? Also, any suggestions about how to attach it back on. I think I will probably need to glue it back on some way. Maybe some kind of epoxy? Any suggestions. Thanks.

Looks like it’s called the garnish assembly. Normally attached with push pins similar to other body panels. Pretty pricey for a new one. Epoxy glue might work as a quick fix.

Thanks for this reply. Yes, I can see how it is attached by push pins. Looks like one of the push pins on mine is broken and not holding. Any suggestions on a good epoxy to use?

Any particular reason that you can’t just replace the damaged push pin ? Might be 10mm but you would need to check. You can get a bag of those on Amazon pretty cheap rather than use OEM. Can’t really suggest an epoxy, I would just look around in one of the big box stores for something waterproof.

Thanks fit09, that is a good suggestion! I'll look into that before trying the epoxy route. Thanks for your help!
