Re-glue wheel well area trim?

I have a 2012 Honda Fit Sport, and after I went through the car wash I noticed that the trim on the wheel well area panel came loose. I am talking about the thin piece of plastic trim that outlines the wheel well area. It's like a flexible strip that was glued there.

Anyway, I'd like to repair it before the rest of it peels off. Any suggestions on what to use to do this, or do I need to have a body shop do it?

Thanks...

I guess I can't post a pic because I don't have enough posts. Maybe not all Fit Sports have this trim, but I thought they did. It is a narrow orange (because the car is orange...) strip that follows the round contour of the wheel well. It's about 1/4" wide, and it has started to peel off. So I want to use some kind of glue to secure it.

Sorry...wish I could post a pic, but I cannot...

is it that color matched plastic/rubber trim the dealers put on for extra cost around the arches?

i hate those, remove them. (heat and pull gently).

Sounds like that could be what I am talking about.
But what type of glue should I use to secure them? I think they look nice. Well...it did until I went through the car wash!

I'd just go to an auto parts store and pick some adhesive that seems appropriate...or use superglue or something I had around. There are various auto body trim glues made and sold at various prices, and many other adhesives that should be functional enough in that application. It's not like you're trying to glue the ceiling in place in a tunnel underneath Boston or anything like that.

its like a 3m adhesive they used for those but like a cheap generic verion. mine came with them on and on the 2nd day of owning the fit it was 75 degrees out on a sunny day and i peeled them off as if i had a heat gun. so buy some 3m double sided tape and cut to fit if you really want to keep those. its suppose to help with door dings.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll go to an auto parts store and check out what they have. I guess I am in the minority in terms of liking how that trim looks...
