Wire Through Firewall Honda Fit 2013 Hole

This is part of my AL Priority parking system install.

Looked high and low for how to run a wire through the firewall....looked at grommets...there's one behind the ac/heater unit but unaccessible....
Anyway, finally decided to make my own freaking hole.....I'm a Fit Freak after all....lol....
Will Fill the hole with 100% Silicone when done.....should be pretty good.

Just out of curiosity, what is the purpose of this system? I did some searching and it's a bit confusing, some people seem to use it for parking while others have a laser speed detection function (e.g. for avoiding speed traps).

3 Guesses and the first 2 don't count.....lol.....and fwiw, I am an Excellent Parker....lol.....and always park facing out......

My friends used to kid me about that.......then I found out in Japan .EVERYBODY parks facing out.

Lots of good reasons for doing that.

Read up on AL Priority...best system around....expensive though......like $3K ...but then speeding tickets are expensive also....
