Part # fore wire..

A rabbit somehow got into my engine compartment and chewed a wire, anyone knows what the part number for it? I tried looking online through a few Honda Parts sites but can't find it. TIA!

Car: 2015, Fit Ex CVT

Here are the images of damaged wires chewed by the rabbit!

Again, TIA. And you can see on the 2nd picture, some rabbit hair!

Okay after not finding the part number, I went ahead with my tools, heat gun, connectors, electrical heat-shrink tubing and electrical tape...

Damaged wires

damage wires from rabbit

reconnecting wires

reconnecting, fixing wires

result

result

Now all warning lights are gone.....

But after driving and testing out the car, my AC was not cold at all. And this is was what I found.

Rabbit chewed through the AC wire too.

Anyway, fixed that also... now AC is cold again.

is it possible that those wires are not for sale, short of buying an entire engine wire harness?

Most likely. There isn't any reason for Honda to go with separate harness for those parts, especially since it has to connect into the ECM through the engine harness anyway as another port on the ECM is even more costly.

After digging around some more, you are right, that they sell the entire harness only.

You are right. But I went ahead and repaired the damage, therefore not having to spend few hundreds from buying the wire harness.
