Long time lurker, first time poster
Hey all, been lurking the forums for about two years now since I picked up my 1 owner 2010 fit sport. Found a lot of good amount of information here so thanks for that. Looking for some SOLID answers for a couple of things I now want/need to do. Been out of the car game for a few years. Being a dealership mechanic has made me uninterested in cars but recently gotten the urge to have a more fun car again. Not sure what aftermarket brands are still good in the Honda world. Last car I built was a Subaru and now in my 30's I'm kinda picky about what parts to buy. Most of the threads related to my questions are YEARS old.
With that said what is a decent coilover that comes with the top mounts for the front struts and also won't give my car the "Honda bounce"
2) Are GSR "blades" or Rota slipstreams with a 205/50/15 tire a direct bolt on or would I need spacers/longer studs/hub adapters? (Only looking to drop the car an inch or 2)
3)Which axle back exhaust fits and sounds the best? I'm well aware no power will be gained just looking for fun noises when driven aggressively.
4) Anyone successfully install an aftermarket seat? I'm not really concerned with disabling the srs system.

EDIT: 205/50/15s are a go. recommended that you dont push offset past +35. 4X100 bolt pattern, but you know that.
Coilovers, i've heard good stuff about bilstein and ohlin i think it was. a cool person on here mentioned recently that crz suspension bolts right up and lowers ride height.
I remember dudes using the tanabe medallion touring alex back exhaust.
One guy is working on a civic seat swap. cant confirm but am seriously interested. this seat dont fit my boney body.
Not much info to offer, but hopefully it gets you started.

That beats rockauto by $114 for a bilstein b14 kit.
i'm sure we'd all love to hear about your experiences with what you decide to go with.
Here's a super street article covering the GE8:
article
they list their parts n reasoning, just be sure to scroll all the way through to get to the good stuff (may need to set the page in desktop mode if you're on a phone). to clarify on wheels, my 16x7 +35 sparco terras fit with a 205/50r16.
Though i'm not lookin to give away my style, sparco does have a pretty new white, black, or broze wheel out that's light. i think around 12lbs or so (from memory) in 15x7. Tirerack has em.
superstreet went with an hks axel back. they even have remarks on "corner balancing" which is apparently a thing for those with adjustable suspension. recommending from the sound of it, leaning the car a tinsy bit backward vs flat if i'm understanding correctly.

Thank you! That’s what I was looking for. People that actually have X part installed on their car. I’m probably going to order the suspension this week but won’t install for a few weeks. It’s still very much winter in the Midwest right now. Once snow is out of the forecast for awhile I’ll start putting parts on. Might be a month or so but I’ll post pictures and opinions when I’m done.

Exhaust
I seeing a yonaka kit. But is out of stock. It sounds nice like a deep tone. This is the link they have a clip in the bottom page to listen to the exhaust, but I personally hear it, and sounds really good. https://www.yonaka.com/Yonaka_2009_2...cb-fit0913.htm

Update. I installed the bilstein coil overs a month ago but finally lowered it and put on my summer wheels today. I scored a set of Gsr fat fives for real cheap and got them powder coated bronze chrome. Also installed an alpine CarPlay head unit and made a shift knob out of an old pair of bmx handle bars. I’ll take some real photos soon. Bonus shot of my roommates Datsun 510.
