09 Fit alarm keeps going off after jumpstart.

Hello All, first time post. I have an 09 Fit that I drove to work yesterday without issue but when I came out to go home the car was dead. I jumped it and when it got power the alarm started going off. Tried pushing the panic button but that did not help. After a couple of minutes the alarm stopped but as soon as I opened the door it started again for a couple of minutes. Was able to drive home but noticed that there was a red light flashing on the upper left corner of the gauge cluster. Parked the car and shut off engine when I got home but as soon as I opened the door the alarm went off again. Unhooked the battery and left it like that for about 30 minutes but as soon as I hooked it up the alarm started going off again. Does anyone have any solutions I can try? Thanks.

Use the key fob to press the unlock button when the alarm starts going off.

Maybe look into why your battery was dead to begin with, I bet the two are related.

Not a problem. It's always hard to think of anything quick with the horn blaring at you.
