Hey all. I just got a CEL in our Fit when I turned it on to head home. Dropped by auto parts shop and had the CEL read, and got P2422 EVAP CVS Stuck Closed.

Did some quick searching and found that it could be the gas cap or an issue with the EVAP sensor. An hour later, to go run an errand, we jumped into our new Element instead, and guess what - CHECK FUEL CAP comes up on the dash after a couple miles. Funny thing is that in both cars when I looked at the gas gauges, they seemed lower than normal.

It seems that it’s possible we’ve got gas thieves again. Might look into locking caps, but I’ve read that those can set off errors too.
