AC leak never found
AC leak never found
Last year my evaporator was freezing over. Took it to the dealer who found the refrigerant half empty by weight. Pressure tested the system for 4hrs, used a sniffer, did the UV check and checked the Schraeder valves with no leak found.
Now my AC is behaving like it did last year when it was low on refrigerant, needing pretty high revs to really cool on a hot day. First thought is the leak is manifesting again.
Does anyone have any experience with a similar situation? I’m wondering if I need to try another shop to find a difficult to find leak. It seems like they were pretty thorough? Anything I can tell the shop to look out for? Seems like a lot of us have this issue with the fit.
