Been a good ride, Bye folks.

Last Thursday night 5/27, a drunk driver, hit and run took us out while I were waiting to make a left at a red light. Still hurting from the incident, but the Ferrari In Training did its job, and I'm still here to complain. I'll have to see what may be available to replace it, but for the mean time, I'll just let the wife chauffer me about. Be safe guys, lightning can strike at any time.

Wow. Glad you’re okay. Did you get your neck/back checked out just in case? Very happy to see the Fit do what it is supposed to do, get you back home.

Thanks for asking. The emergency room said two fractured ribs, otherwise I’m just sore and really angry. I liked that car, new continentals DWS06’s were delivered Friday, wife took them back to FedEx Saturday. It only had 110k, and not even a door ding. Faded red paint, but they all do or will.

Oh sh*t that is a hard impact. I’m glad to hear you’re just injured and nothing serious. Sad to see the car go, but it did what it had to do to prevent as much bodily harm. I hope you recover quickly man

Jeez, that looks bad, HP. I hope you're okay. If you have no back or neck injuries, then you really lucked out. Might not seem like it now, but you'll have to trust me on this.

While you're recovering, you can think about what car to buy next . . . .

Glad you are OK. Your Fit did its job. I'll raise a glass of Scotch to it tonight.

Yes the car did what it were designed to do. Kept me alive, all I could ask of it. I’ll recover, and have to see what his insurance will do, and what’s available these days to replace it. The car was well designed, took the impact.

Holy cow, broken ribs are no joke. Hope everything heals up nicely.

And those fresh Continentals were a good choice, you were karmically rewarded for taking good care of the car

wow... glad everyone survived... really a bummer that your fit's life was cut short, hopefully the insurance company takes care of you.
