So my engine is done for

Today my 2009 fit manual trans' engine died via a bearing going out and a valve seal dropping a new l15a is easily 7k plus and I am seeing k20 engine for way cheaper what is the market like right now which engine is more reliable I also live in the mountains. So more power would be incredibly helpful. What is more cost effective right now.

How about a used engine? A K20 swap will never be cost effective.

There’s no way an L15A is $7000 and a K20 much less.

Used sounds right. The k series has never been "drop in", that's an actual project. Not like the d/b series+ecu was.

.. And if it's not hard, then let me know, and I'll a go buy a k20 to put in

I bought a running 70k mile motor at a salvage yard for $500. L15A1 and not the L15A7 in a GE, but they are the same price. Check car-part.com, put in your year, select engine, and you'll see what's in your area. Around me I see GE motors for between $250 and $650.

Hey, how did that new Used engine work out for you? . I have a 2009 sport fit mt that’s using 1 qt oil/800 miles and trying to explore my options. Seems like 7 k
is too much to put in my 225 thousand mile car, even though I like it.

Not sure where everyone keeps getting the $7000 for a Honda Fit engine, but as GAFIT said, you can do much better than that with a tiny bit of searching.
If you haven't done so, it might also be worth your time to figure out why your car is using so much oil. Is it leaking? Maybe a new gasket or seal could fix your problem.
