New battery recommendation

Hi all, any recommendations for a new car battery?

The Autocraft Gold 151R, 425 battery that came with the car has lasted me a little more than seven years, so it would be nice to get the same one. Not sure where to buy that one, though.

Thanks!

Just go to Honda and buy your battery there. Cheap prices and great warranty.

1) Don't go to the dealer.

2) I am not familiar with AutoCraft

3) I recently bought an Interstate battery (see Post 5). I recommend it.

Good luck.

51R battery using Civic battery tray

Hello,
My 151R OEM died after two years so I went with a 51R from Costco but had to install it a bit sideways. To do so I went to the scrap yard and bought a Fit and a Civic battery tray to Frankenstein them together. I got both to keep my original in perfect condition just in case I want to go back.

Drill up the solders on the Fit tray

Drill up the solders on the Civic tray

Separate them

Remove the 12mm fasterners in the Fit (2 on top, 2 on the side with extensions)

Test fit the Fit sub tray

Test fit the Civic tray

Bolt it together

Install the cut down Civic plastic tray

Installer the 51R battery sideways
