Having a weird, ongoing issue that I cannot seem to chase down. Short version; my 13 base Fit has now 3 times had crank no-start issues. The frequency is increasing (7 weeks ago, 2 weeks ago, 2 days ago). Semi-related code appears to be P0171 post-fuel filling.
First time towed to garage; pulled a coil & tested with another plug to confirm I saw spark. They tested fuel pressure, found no issues, reassembled & everything resolved. Second time; had towed to dealership for 5 days, they were unable to locate any issues as well. Put it together, drove fine - I left the dealership, drove 125 miles towards home, filled up when warning light came on. 6 minutes later, CEL of P0171 again. Car drove fine, finished driving home. 1 hour later; car won't start.
Tore apart the next morning, no fuel pressure at all when pulling line & cranking, can't hear pump. Checked PGM-FI relay 2, didn't see any voltage at all. Started testing PGM-FI relay today, but couldn't find issue - reassembled & started without issue.
Questions: Intermittent causes of no voltage to the relays? Could it be related to evap system if it's connected with filling up prior to the start failures?
