I have a 2008 Honda Fit sport. In the last couple of years I have had the AC compressor and the AC fan replaced.

The issue I'm having is that it takes about 10 minutes of having it running for the AC to get cold (it won't get cold if I just drive the car and wait 10 minutes to turn it on). Once it gets cold it's as cold as it should be and for the most part stays that way.

Does anyone know what the problem might be?

 

I experienced this on my 2006 Mazda3, the AC compressor would take a few minutes to kick on and once it did, the AC worked fine. It ended up being the AC relay. It was like $10 from Autozone and took a minute to replace. Hopefully it is something that simple for you!
