Transmission questions
Hello !
I just bought a 2008 Fit needing a manual tranny. I have found one from a 2013 and I know that the ratios and final drive differ. I do not care much about differences in MPG or acceleration and since the engine block is the same... well the question is: will it bolt right up? Also what did Honda do to the engine to get that extra HP in 2010 on?

My suggestion would be to contact an auto parts wrecking yard and let them use their interchange guide to answer your question. Simply ask them what year Honda Fit manual transmissions will fit your '08 Fit?
