Rear silencer change

Hi all.
After I'd been critisized in jazzclub (uk version of fit freaks) i joined this forum officially 😌

Need a little help to get my head around.
So I'm thinking to cut off rear silencer and replace with smtn like
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hornet-Ex...-127635-2958-0
Because original exhaust is resonated would this affect performance in bad way!?
Would that give deeper lower tone!?
And would it be easy to swap without welding!?
P. S. Your Jazz'es, Fit's look so much better than europe versions 😭

Cheers

Hey,
YOu can't install it easily I installed this (https://www.ebay.de/itm/Schalldaempf...-127634-2357-0) last week the sound is amazing with high RPM it feels so good, but the install was hard I needed to cut my muffler's pipe and connect to this I tried it without welding but there was a lot of air leaking so I had to weld it and needed to cut the rear pumper to make it fit, but it's was worth it really, I didn't see any performance change

I changed to an aftermarket muffler 6 years ago and i like it. I had one like you showed on earlier cars but after a few years they rusted out and broke. Make sure they are stainless steel for long life. On my Fit muffler I bought one of the stainless sreel ones off Ebay and have had no problems. I paid to have the stock muffler cut off and the new one welded in place . Well worth the money and cheaper than buying a rear assembly made for the Fit. Good luck.

I bought the muffler for $50.00 USD with free shipping off of Ebay and the muffler shop charged me $60.00 USD to cut off stock muffler and weld on new one and two brackets to position it properly. My stock muffler still in garage in case I need to put it back on.

Hope it helps

James
