For me, I just wanted a good gas mileage car back in the fall off 2008 and over the years whenever I looked at another car…I just couldn’t do it 😊😊

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I'm grateful for the people on this forum. You folks are alright!
"Economy car"? Your honor, I object!

Lately, I've been enjoying my Fit as much as ever. The power-to-weight ratio and the sweet Aisin gearbox make it a "drivers car," even on a stock suspension. VTEC is God's way of showing that he loves us. Some days, the power comes on so beautifully that I think I must have gotten a really fresh tank of gas or the ambient air density and temperature must be just perfect. I love driving this car.

Happy Holidays, you 'freaks.

MC and the rest, I appreciate you guys. Thanks for hangin out, shooting sh*t, posting problems, and chiming in. This is my favorite forum and social network. I'm glad you're here.

Today's lesson: Dont set your eggnog in the middle when you're making dog food.

Also, sorry for the economy remark. In my experience, people don't usually love cars like this one and like getting their hands dirty. You've all earned a handshake, british bake-off style

@Pyts Got to keep our spirits up. Poor @Fit09Pete is in Michigan. They only get to drive four days a year because of all the snow, so he reads Fit brochures and dreams Fit dreams. Come to California, Pete! On the subject of dirty hands, I flushed my clutch fluid at my recent service, and the clutch feel is noticeably improved. I don't recall so much improvement on previous clutch flushes. Oh, happy day!

There were a bunch of us who ordered 2009 Sports with Navi and manual transmissions. They all got built in a batch in Japan on US Thanksgiving day in 2008. Pretty happy to pick it up at the dealer in mid-January. Lots of excitement on the forum at the time. Dealers around the country claimed to have them in stock, but they did not, of course. Still think of it as the Swiss Army Knife of automobiles. We have about 105,000 miles on it now.
