Sprintex Supercharger on stock ecm

Looking for confirmation of this and a little advice. I have a Sprintex Supercharger that has been sitting in my garage since the piggyback died a good while back. I was researching another issue and came across a thread that mentioned the supercharger can be run on stock ecm. However I also see mentioning of needing tuning and what not. Will the stock ecm work with no piggyback? From what I understand I will need to upsize injectors to oem type 310cc (16450-RBB-003), no 5th injector, and possible fuel pump upgrade. I know that for best performance will need an aftermarket tuner and a tune. I plan on getting a KTunner once money is saved up.

So, the confirmation I’m looking for is:
1. The stock ecm will work with no piggyback?
2. Injectors are the correct ones and will not require a clip, or what part number is if clip is needed?
3. Do I need upgrade fuel pump and if so what would be recommended?
4. Other than peak performance, what are the cons to running just the stock ecm?

Thanks in advance for all help and advice!

No it will not work, unless you installed a completely new return fuel system with a rising rate fuel pressure regulator. You will need to buy a Ktuner to have the ecu tuned.

I thought you needed a tuner of some sort but there are two post that I know of from Goobers where he said he was not using a tuner. That is why I’m confused and asking for confirmation. Unfortunately he is no longer active. Below are the post.

From - Adding Supercharger, looking for best way to tune my fit
Well, doing it yourself means, the more experience you have with it, the more confident and/or chance of getting the best out of it.
If you're not already a "pro," then a shop that normally does it is likely to get a better tune out of it.
On the other hand, I'm running my Sprintex with just the stock ECU (the piggyback died a while back)... so, if you experiment gradually and not do anything utterly stupid, it might be worthwhile to do it yourself as a learning process

From - What did you do to your GE Fit today
Last night, i did a little re-wiring of the harness that came with the Sprintex supercharger. I unplugged the piggyback from the harness then reconnected the intercepted OE wires. Basically, its as if there's no extra harness installed. So now, i have an "untuned" supercharger, letting the factory ECU control fuel trims. Not too shabby.
Seems like the factory pump is sufficient for the supercharger, if and ONLY if you refrain from holding high RPM. Regular redline shifting is okay.

Sent him a PM to see if can confirm but, is a long shot. Figured my best bet was to see if someone active can shed some light. I guess once I fix my other issues I could just try it and see. I would only be wasting the cost of the injectors and a little time. If I upgrade the fuel pump, will that hurt anything if I’m not running the supercharger and using stock injectors?

Why don’t you just spend the money and buy the Ktuner and a dyno tune. Then you know the car is good, trying to run it on a stock un tuned computer will blow the engine no doubt about it. Upgrading the fuel pump won’t do Anthony as long as you install the correct pump that uses the oem regulator.

fuel is not the only issue with installing a supercharger, ignition timing is the main concern that is how you blow things up. Which is why you need it tuned, ktuner is the number 1 best option and it’s not expensive.

The KTuner is what seemed logical to me, I was just seeing if I could to put the supercharger back on till able to get the tuner without doing major damage and have it run fairly well. I appreciate the feedback.
