Why you calling the MT a sheetbox? Its a great box.. its reliable.. shifts gears.. and has an e-brake that's not an electronic button. What more can you ask for?

I don't know if GE is any better but the GD is very noisy on the highway unfortunately. Engine noise is very noticeable above 90km/h and then also wind and road. Yes it runs at 4000 rpm but that's pretty normal for small cars (even my miata does too). The real issue is the lack of sound insulation I think, Honda saved weight/money on that probably. I drove a rental Toyota Aygo recently and even it was quieter at (moderately) high speeds.
