Hi! Just got my first ever fit - a 2007 with 198,000 miles on it. My car unexpectedly broke down while I was in between jobs and I needed a decent budget car before I am able to buy something a little nicer for myself. It had a brand new alternator and AC when I bought it, along with new tires, sway bar links, and everything else seems to be in good condish!

However, when I start it and the AC is running, it makes a squealing whirring sound for about 30 seconds to a minute or until the engine warms up and then the noise stops for the rest of the drive. This noise only happens when the car is in drive or reverse. Also, if the car is started and the AC is not on, it makes no noise. Any idea what could be causing this?? Thank you!!
