Trye/wheel/offset
Trye/wheel/offset
Hi
I have a 2013 1.5tr fit fitted with 175/65/15 factory alloys I think they are 5.5j wheels, question is can I fit 195/60/15 ? They look the closest that will not make speedo to far out and it looks like 195 will fit 5.5 wheels but i am not sure about offset ? does this change if keeping to same wheels ?

195 width tires are right at the limit of what I would mount on a 5.5 inch width wheel. You will have a "balloon" tire look, which you may or may not like, but you'll likely never have to worry about curbing your wheels again.
If you keep the same wheel then your offset doesn't change, you'll just have more tire hanging off the inside and outside. Your tire width will be increasing from 6.9 inches to 7.7 inches, or roughly 0.4 inches (just over 1 cm) on the inside and outside of the wheel. If you have that much clearance around your current tires you should be fine.
