The valves sounded noisy, so I decided to do an adjustment. To my surprise, every valve was within spec. So, naturally, I checked them all again, and again they were all within spec. Thanks for nothing, I guess.
At 40,XXX mi., when I replaced the spark plugs, I tightened them by hand (no torque wrench) and used a little bit of anti-seize. This time, all of my spark plugs were in there just fine. The were perfectly seated, and I didn't have to break them free to remove them.
Last time, it took me three hours. This time, it took me 7.5 hours. Took me 2.5 hours to remember how to remove the damn air intake chamber.
Next Up: A leaky A/C air compressor.
