Fasteners

Hey y'all! Quick question. My apologies in advance if this question has been answered already, the search is not working on the site.

Where are you sourcing your buttonhead type fasteners from? Recently I had to change out the driver's side mirror and 3 of the butonhead fastners were ruined after pulling them from the door panel. I would like to have OEM or close to OEM fasteners. The one's behind the door go unseen but I'm missing a few from under the hood that do get noticed.

Thanks!

Honda dealer for OEM, or online Honda sites.

Alternatively, you can go on Dream Shop and find the P/N of what you are looking for, then search on Ebay, Amazon or else for that P/N. You'll probably find equivalent fasteners.

This is definitely the best option. But if all else fails, you can try McMasters.com

Not necessarily for my Fit, but for some of my cars I have grabbed various missing fasteners at the junkyard. I am sure eventually my Fit will join that club as well.

I was in Harbor Freight recently, and near the cash register checkout was a package of various plastic fasteners. I did not look closely, but they appeared to be an assortment of the types of fasteners we use on our Fits. I'm thinking of under-tray fasteners. Not sure about door panels.

I thought I was the only one who hated Amazon and Jeff Bezos.

Bezos is the posterboy for everything that has gone wrong with capitalism. But perhaps that is a discussion that we should have in person over a distilled beverage.
