Interior fuse “box” port 57 is the HVAC fan correct?
the other day everything was fine, went to go home annnnd my HVAC fan won’t turn on. Pulled the filter behind the glove box tried spinning the fan by hand and it’s like it had zero electricity to it. I’m hoping though doubtful it’s a blown fuse…. Probably switch, controller or the motor itself I’m guessing though, it’s almost never a blown fuse for me.
I also tried smacking the bottom of the dash as I have had that work in the past on some vehicles when the motor was failing, but it didn’t even think about turning.
is the motor (I’m at work so can’t check the .pdf) a 2 wire ordeal? DC or AC from a converter or controller? Asking wondering if I can test the motor itself simply supplying 12v or if that’s not an option in the case of it taking AC from a controller or converter or whatever.
when I first got the car it would sometimes do this but always started working as I went down the road, haven’t had that happen in months though and never like this where it just stayed dead. (I’m assuming motor or controller died, I mean hey it’s an 09 model with over 280k miles on it, I’d say it did a good job)
